What if your office could fit on your screen? Surge recreates the office floor virtually, letting you roam around, drop by your teammates’ cabins, and talk just like you would in a real office.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
In an office, every conversation carries information. But who can remember it all? Nobody. And somewhere between meetings, messages, and handoffs, details get lost — leading to misunderstandings, miscommunication, and things falling through the cracks.
Reasearch
Our research revealed three key building blocks of project information: what’s discussed in calls, personal notes, and the action items that need to be completed before the next call.
We observed how teams used existing collaboration tools during their day-to-day discussions and documented where information was lost, missed, or difficult to track.
Pain Point. Remembering everything is hard. But even when teams do, there’s another problem: connecting all that scattered information into clear, actionable next steps.

Bring all project information into one place, giving AI the information it needs to give suggestions, clarify doubts, and keep everyone on the same page.
Challenge. Feeding AI with info shouldn’t become another task. It should happen naturally, as the team works.

WIREFRAMES AND EXPLORATIONS
Explored multiple layouts for figuring out how to give equal importance to tasks, transcriptions and chatbot.
TRANSCRIBE
When a voice or video call starts, transcription kicks in - automatically/manually, depending on the user’s preferences.
Once the transcription is complete, users are shown a card where they can either view the summary or add the transcript to a project.
NOTES & FILES
While the meeting is being transcribed, users can also take notes alongside it using a block-based notetaker.
TASKS/
TO-DO-LIST
Once the transcription is complete, users get a list of suggested action items based on the meeting. They can choose to add them to their to-do list or simply remove them.
PROJECTS
KEY SOLUTION
Projects is where everything related to a project comes together — tasks, transcriptions, files, and everything in between. Since the chatbot has access to all the project data, you can ask it things like what was discussed in a meeting, what tasks are still pending, or find specific information from the files and transcriptions — without having to dig through everything yourself.
